MARK'S BIO

It started a long time ago when I was a kid. Back when there were post cards and actually sent in the mail, with an actual stamp, I used to collect them because I was fascinated by the beautiful photography. Once I asked a teacher from school who traveled overseas to bring me back some post cards from Egypt. I would collect postcards while on vacation.
When I had an actual job in West Texas, I purchased a Canon AE-1, 35 mm camera, which I still have to this day. I've not used it in eons and really never quite learned how to use it properly, but did learn the value of a tripod, delayed shots and filters. The job I had, we had to take photos with the old instant print Polaroid camera that would develop a picture in about a minute. Even then I made sure the sun and light was in the right position. I had the best damned Polaroid shots you ever saw. :)
When digital came along, man what a great change. I don't currently have that much gear, but have stuck to the Canon brand which I fell in love with. I currently use a Canon Rebel T6i digital and will be experimenting with other lenses in the future. My current love is my Sigma USM 50-100 mm lens . Wow!
I've been blessed to have shot for international blog Amps and Green Screens My first gig being in Prague, Czech Republic shooting international band GIRLSCHOOL and local band THE AGONY. Since jointing A&GS I had the good fortune to shoot and or review over 75 albums and live concert reviews. So my love for music is ingrained into my soul. Amps and Green Screens - Music. TV. Film.
After acquiring my extensive portfolio, I have officially launched my photography as a local Dallas/Fort Worth business servicing local bands and providing head shots for them and corporate businesses.
